About the Artist
Caroline's make-up artistry career began at the tender age of 16 having always known that she wanted to be involved in the world of fashion and make-up. With a HND in Make-up Artistry Caroline then moved into television working on productions such as The Live Floor Show, Yo Diary, Caledonian Mcbraynes, and Offside for The Comedy Unit and Scottish BBC, while also starting her career within MAC Cosmetics, where she very soon realized her true vocation and niche.
Within the seven years at MAC, Caroline was involved vastly in the training and out-of-store events including store seminars, Edinburgh College of Art fashion shows, Edinburgh Fashion week, Scottish Fashion awards, Graduate Fashion Week London, and the London Bafta's, just to name a few, covering London, Paris, Edinburgh and Glasgow. During this time, Caroline focused a lot of her spare time freelancing having worked on countless magazine and editorial shoots for international clients which have graced the covers of glossy magazines.
Throughout the past 10 years, Caroline has amassed a loyal clientèle base through a lot of her bridal work. “I cannot thank you enough for making my bridesmaids and I look so amazing on my wedding day. I can’t really put in to words how fantastic you are at your job. You knew exactly the look we were going for and nothing was a hassle for you. We received so many compliments on the day and your professional attitude and laid back manner put us all at ease before we left for the church. The kit you have is just phenomenal and our make-up lasted into the wee small hours - just wish I could have you on hand every day! Thanks again, Caroline, and I will not hesitate to recommend you, and indeed book you again, in the future!” – Cheryl
“As a bride to be, I awoke at 6am, nervous, excited and pretty much wired. Caroline however, arrived calm and collected and managed to scrape me off the ceiling long enough to make me (and my bridesmaids) feel and look like a princess. My make-up was natural yet glam and didn’t smudge, smear or fade all day....Caroline provided a quirky and cool experience for a very special day indeed.” - Helenor Fisher (30 years and a bit)
“Caroline was recommended to me by a colleague and I'm so glad because she was fantastic. My bridesmaids and I were delighted with our make-up, we wanted something quite girly but subtle, Caroline managed to incorporate this with the looks she created.” - Nicola
“Caroline was fantastic. She listened to what I wanted and then made it even better. It was such a relief not having to worry about my make-up on the day and it was still looking great when I went to bed at 0300! I felt like a celebrity on my wedding day. The professional make-up was done so well. Caroline made all the difference and I was really pleased with the result on the day and looking at my wedding photos now after the wedding. Thank you.” - Libby

Frequently Asked Questions
What brands do you use in your kit?
I stock MAC cosmetics, Nars, Estee Lauder, Bobbi Brown, Airbase and Illamasque. I only stock brands that I know are of high quality and give amazing results for your photographic images.
Will the make-up last all day?
The big question, this depends on the clients’ skin type. During your trial, I will have the opportunity to find out what products would be best for you. I stock water-resistant products. I can almost guarantee that your eyeshadow will not move on the day and all you will need to top up with will be a blot paper/sheer powder and lips.
When should I book my trial?
I would recommend your trial to be 2-3 months before the actual wedding day, as I am constantly updating my kit with new products as companies improve their product line thus giving you the the highest quality of products available at the time. However, it is entirely up to you when you really want to go ahead.
How many bookings do you have in a day?
I only take one wedding booking per day and keep this date available exclusively for your after trial confirmation. I may take an evening booking but will only do so after checking with the original booking of the bride.
If you have any other queries please do not hesitate to contact me for further details.
